There’s nothing worse than doing your job devotedly to be then yelled at by your cranky boss. Taking care of our skin is essential but requires devotion, discipline, time, and money. Whilst I assume we all make those efforts, nobody wants unattractive spots in return. Luckily I’ve picked up some tips along the way and here’s my foolproof way for making spots disappear in two days. It’s a technique that works each and every time so prepare yourself to wave those pesky spots goodbye …
Ingredients:
- Skin cleanser
- Acid toner
- Spot treatment
- Face oil
- Moisturiser
Recipe
Step One: Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm
If you want to treat your skin properly, you need to start off with a clean base. This means double cleansing if you either wear make-up or spf. Cleansing your skin should be your number one priority day and night. I adore cleansing balms for this purpose; It’s extremely soothing, nourishing, and hydrating at the same time.
Step Two: Ren Clarifying Toner
Acid-based toners slough off dead skin cells and prep the skin for whatever comes next. This ensures a better product penetration. Poor some toner onto a cotton pad and concentrate on affected areas. Make sure to go over spots well and have no mercy. Don’t panic if a spot starts to bleed, just hold your cotton pad against the spot which will stop it from bleeding. This allows the product to seep in and kill bacteria more effectively.
Step Three: Origins Super Spot Remover
Now it’s time for your spot treatment to rise and shine. Dab a small amount on spots and you should feel a slight tingle which means it’s working its magic. Look for something that contains high levels of salicylic acid that clears pores from oil and debris in order to fight acne effectively.
Step Four: Kahina Argan Oil
Concentrate a small amount of face oil on spots to keep dry patches at bay. It soothes irritation whilst restoring skin texture. I’ve witnessed a noticeable difference when I add face oil to my spot-zapping routine.
Step Five: Origins Night-A-Mins
Moisturiser is the lid on top of a pot – the last step of your skincare routine unless you’re applying spf. Moisturiser doesn’t have to be an investment, spend your money on serums and treatments instead. The purpose of moisturiser is to lock everything in providing a protective layer to the skin. Compare it to cheese topped onto lasagna, that crusty layer of yumminess that pulls everything together as a whole.
You might want to repeat step three and four in order to zap away those pesky spots asap. It would be preferable to do this at night but clear treatments are great to use during the day. It’s pretty much a desk essential for me, just in case of emergencies. Always prepared for a hefty battle, always. Here’s my recipe to achieve spotless skin in two days. The secret is basically to layer products on top of each other and remember to always apply thin layers. You don’t want to suffocate your skin. I have used this method consistently and it works each and every time. The only thing that would still be visible is a faint scar, but there’s nothing that Effaclar Duo Plus can’t solve, right? Give it a week or two and it’s as if nothing has ever happened.
I really cringe at the sight of a spot in sight and the big guns are promptly taken out. I’ve actually been in the possession of the above-mentioned products for yonks but I never benefitted from such astonishing results before because I wasn’t doing it quiet right – so it seems. Rubbing a toner soaked cotton pad against a spot quiet roughly and using a face oil really has made a world of difference. This showcases how important the how-to’s are, reading the manual can sometimes be a life-changer. I’m so pleased with the results that I’d never look back, ever again.
