God may have created the woman, but Nars clearly created this palette for me. This limited edition palette has been such a success, it was sold out in a blink of an eye. No one had the decency to leave me one – how incredibly rude. When something’s not available anymore, you crave it even more, and madness starts to kick in. Story of my life. Thank God, it has been re-released and I was one chuffed lady. I was determined to get my hands on this palette gem, I have let it slip once and no way that was going to be happen twice! Nars sure knows how to make women’s minds go wild …
NARS And God Created the Woman palette comes with the not so infamous Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base and Wide Contour Eyeshadow Brush #43, both travel-sized. The palette itself comes in a various neutral shades and textures:
- Alhambra Duo (bottom left), a shimmery pink champagne
- Bellissima Duo (upper left), a matte grayish brown
- Kalahari Duo (upper middle), a shimmery rose goldish
- Galapagos Single (bottom middle), chocolate brown infused with gold shimmer
- Coconut Grove Single (bottom right), a matte deep taupe brown
- Night Clubbing Single (upper right), a black with golden pearl
A neutral lover’s dream, right? The fact that it contains existing eyeshadows only, won’t seduce everyone. Yet it creates the perfect day-appropriate look and takes it easily from day to night. The quality of the eyeshadows does not disappoint. They are soft, smooth, blend well with no fall-out but I do admit that I expected them to be slightly more pigmented. My favourite shades are undoubtedly Alhambra, Bellissima and Kalahari. Size-wise, it’s the dinkiest palette I own by far. It fits right into the palm of my hands which makes it my perfect travel companion.
You all know I have been obsessed with my Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Quad and this is the perfect cooler-toned option that makes my day. I have been alternating between these two palettes most days which proves how much I love this little dinky palette.
